While the conditions were a bit sporty to say the least, the crew aboard the Mobster out of Saint Petersburg, Florida got it done. They caught Marlin, Yellowfin Tunas and Mahi Mahi trolling dead ballyhoo with circle hooks off of Hopetown in the Bahamas. April and May is some of the best time to fish the Abacos while many of the best Sportfishing teams are down there fishing the Tournament circuit. The fishing will remain good in the Bahamas through the end of May tapering off the end of June as the water temperatures climb.
